Care That Continues At Home
The early days of parenthood are tender and transformative, but they can also feel overwhelming in ways you don’t always expect. I created Nurturing Beginnings because I saw how deeply families benefit from ongoing, accessible guidance after leaving the hospital.
In the hospital, parents are surrounded by professional care and reassurance. Once home, that support often fades. The transition can feel sudden, and questions and challenges quickly arise. I recognized this gap in care and felt called to provide in-home support that meets families where they are and guides them through their feeding journey.
While working in Labor and Delivery, I cared for mothers and newborns during their first precious hours together. I witnessed the profound bond that forms in those early moments and understood how vital ongoing guidance and encouragement are once families begin navigating life at home.
Growing up in Tokyo, Japan, shaped my deep respect for diverse cultures, family structures, and parenting values. Later, during my time in Moshi, Tanzania, I conducted home visits for families with limited access to care. Supporting families in their environment showed me the power and impact of personalized, in-home guidance and care.
Those experiences strengthened my commitment to providing support that feels practical, personal, and deeply attuned to each family.
Today, it is a privilege to walk alongside families throughout Fairfield County as they build confidence, find clarity, and create feeding journeys that reflect their values and goals.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you.
